Tata Group of Companies Represesntatives Learning Visit

Representatives of senior management of 12 Tata group of companies made a learning visit to Uttarakhand Post Disaster Livelihood Program (UPDLP) of Tata Relief Committee (TRC) and Himmotthan Society on 2nd Nov, 2017 at Chandrapuri and Kalimath clusters of Rudraprayag District. The post disaster program was started after Uttarakhand faced the catastrophic disaster in June 2013 with an aim to rehabilitate and enhance the livelihood of over 5000 disaster impacted families An experience sharing event was organized and the event witnessed a gathering of around 200 members of three women co-operatives and Self Help Groups (SHGs). Chairwomen of the co-operatives enthusiastically shared the updates of their business and way forward with the visiting group. All members of the visiting group appreciated the efforts put forth through Uttarakhand Post Disaster Livelihood Program (UPDLP) to build and institutionalize the capacity of the women groups and co-operatives. They wished to see further growth in their business and wish them success for their future endeavors.
